An iconic Rocco Forte hotel tucked between Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps, de Russie is famed for its secluded walled garden, polished personalised service and elegant rooms. Guests repeatedly single out staff members and the Le Jardin courtyard for memorable breakfasts and aperitivi; minor criticisms focus on occasional slow bar service and dated corridor carpets.

SIDE is an urban-chic luxury hotel designed by Matteo Thun, located in the heart of Hamburg near the State Opera. It features striking modern architecture, a high-end steakhouse, and an indoor spa with a pool. Guests consistently rave about the exceptionally warm, personalized service.

An upscale family-friendly resort just a 15-minute speedboat ride from Malé, featuring lush tropical gardens and superb dining options. While it offers excellent convenience, gorgeous Banyan trees, and a top-notch Kids Club, the proximity to the capital means audible plane noise and visible city high-rises from the main beach.

Located right on Taksim Square, Sofitel Istanbul Taksim offers a luxurious stay blending French elegance with Turkish hospitality. Guests love the spacious rooms, stunning Bosphorus views, and exceptional service from the housekeeping and dining staff. However, occasional front desk delays and minor spa maintenance issues keep it just shy of perfection.
